I am delighted to start my new position as AIAS-AUFF fellow at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Science. In my project, I will use individual simulations and statistical frameworks to study how adaptation works across time and space.

We investigate spatial structure in disease models, revealing when spatial heterogeneity must be considered for accurate predictions and how it impacts key epidemiological outcomes—bridging theory and simulations for more realistic epidemic modeling.
